OBDSTAR DC706 ecu cloning tool recent upgrade adds Renault EMS3125 ECU. Here is an example on cloning Renault Continental EMS3125 ECU by DC706 in boot mode.
Tools used:
OBDSTAR DC706 ecu cloner
OBDSTAR MP001 programmer
Procedure:
Go to Car->ECM software
Quick search Renault Continental EMS3125 TC1782 ECU and check instructions and boot mode connection
To clone this ECU, you will need to read INT eeprom and INT flash, then write INT flash and eeprom.
Need disassemble ECU.
Check wiring diagram.
Need to connect 1 Boot and 1 C4-01 A1 Pins.
You will be able to zoom in/out pinouts.
Then connect harness with ECU
Finally connect the MP001 adapter with DC706
OBDSTAR DC706 will show you all wiring connections.
Follow wiring to set up everthing.
Then go to ECU, select Boot mode and MP001
Press Connect
1st step will allow you to read password
Read INT flash
Save INT flash
Read INT eeprom
Save INT eeprom
Write INT flash
Load external data
Select INT Flash data and write
Write INT EEPROM
Load external data
Select INT eeprom data and write
Write both INT flash and eeprom successfully.
Don’t forget to press Disconnect when cloning is done.
